What happens in your first class?
Trying something new can feel a little nerve-wracking — we get it.
That’s why we’ve created HER to feel welcoming, supportive and fun from the moment you walk in.
Here’s what you can expect.
When You Arrive
You’ll walk into a room full of women just like you — some brand new, some who have been coming for a while.
There’s no pressure to know anyone or be good at dancing. Most women come to their first class feeling a little nervous too.
You’ll be welcomed in, find a spot in the room and get ready to move.
We Learn the Moves Together
Before each dance, we walk through the choreography step by step so everyone can follow along.
You don’t need to be coordinated.
You don’t need to remember every step.
Most women laugh their way through the first few dances — and that’s exactly the point.
Then the Music Starts
Once the music kicks in, the room fills with energy.
Old school R&B club tracks start playing, the lights go down and the whole room moves together.
Some women dance at the back.
Some dance at the front.
There’s no right place to stand — just wherever you feel comfortable.
By the End of Class
You’ll be sweaty, smiling and wondering where the hour went.
Most women leave their first class saying something like:
"That was so much fun."
"I forgot how much I love dancing."
"I can’t wait to come back."
And that’s exactly what HER is about.
Reconnecting with your body, having fun and sharing that energy with other women.
